Somer Bishop, Ph.D.

Dr. Somer Bishop is a Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences (General Psychiatry and Psychology) at Stanford University School of Medicine - Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. She participates in comprehensive, multi-disciplinary assessment and treatment of children and adults with ASD and related disorders. Dr. Bishop's research and clinical interests focus on assessment and measurement of social-communication and restricted and repetitive behaviors associated with ASD/NDDs, and how these symptom dimensions are affected by developmental, comorbid emotional/behavioral and contextual factors
